Creator Policy — Orizuru
We make Orizuru for people who love folding, and we love seeing creators share it. This page explains, in plain terms, what you can do with Orizuru footage.
You can cover Orizuru — freely
You may record, stream, and monetize gameplay footage of Orizuru — including the in-game music — on YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, X, Bluesky, Kick, Reddit, and similar platforms. No permission, application, or revenue share is required. This covers let's-plays, reviews, short-form clips, livestreams, and reaction content.
About YouTube Content ID claims
Orizuru's soundtrack will be registered with YouTube Content ID under a "Track" policy (at or before launch). Once registered, if you upload a video that uses our in-game audio you may see a Content ID claim in YouTube Studio. This claim is informational only. It does not take your monetization, it does not count as a copyright strike, and it does not affect your channel standing. You keep 100% of your video's revenue. The registration exists to stop bad actors from falsely claiming our music — not to claim against creators.
If you run a high-volume channel and would rather not see the claim notification at all, email [email protected] and we can whitelist your channel.
Music credit
Music by Anya. A credit in your video description is appreciated but not required.
What this policy does not cover
This permission is for gameplay footage. It does not cover:
- Standalone music compilations or uploads of the soundtrack without gameplay.
- Remixes, re-recordings, or re-uploads of the music as audio.
- Any use where the audio is detached from Orizuru gameplay.
For those uses, email [email protected] and we'll connect you with the composer.
